What's the difference between Salopettes and just plain Ski Pants, apart from salopettes sounds fancy? Well here's the definitive answer. Salopettes have straps that go over your shoulders and officially should pull up to your chest. But styles change, and if you're not Simon Cowell, you don't want the waist band that high.
Dare2b salopettes have the braces but the waist band is at the normal height, but is adjustable.
