Comfort and fit - 9/10 The Quick-Fire was absolutely perfect for me. I really liked the scooped hem, which stopped it riding up when I was at full stretch, and also the Velcro adjustable cuffs. The eVent fabric felt comfortable and proved relatively rustle-free and the hood was huge, although I'd prefer a draw-cord volume adjuster to the velcro one, so it loses a mark for this.
Performance - 10/10 Spot-on in every department. Light and easy to carry when not required, yet comfortable and completely bomb-proof when the heavens did open. And the eVent fabric proved incredibly breathable, no matter how hard I was working. The pockets are well-placed, can double as vents and will also hold a map. And the hood is pretty much perfect, with a superb wired peak.
Verdict A highly berathable, well vented waterproof that's light and easy to carry, yet can handle the worst mountain weather. A little dearer than most but will earn its keep.
