SealSkinz gloves are covered with a durable nylon outer layer. Nylon is virtually indestructible, with a tenacity of 50 g/tex against, for example cotton, 32 g/tex or wool, 15g/tex. It has excellent elastic recovery properties: 97% elastic recovery at 5% extension against cotton (47% recovery) and wool (88% recovery)
These gloves have great thermal properties and are very durable.
